Overview
Studio Mrinalini doesn’t just make clothes, it preserves emotion. Every garment is a quiet rebellion against fast fashion, designed with the kind of care that only memory can weave. Rooted in the South, shaped for every woman, and draped in silks that know how to speak - Mrinalini needed a brand identity as fluid and personal as the pieces themselves.
We crafted a visual system that reflects the brand’s soft strength: a muted colour palette, sculptural type, and a tone of voice that doesn’t sell, it shares. The result is a brand that feels like home. Lived-in. Looked-after. Unmistakably hers.
The Challenge
Studio Mrinalini wasn’t asking to be noticed, it was asking to be felt.
And that made the brief beautifully complex.
In a space flooded with bold branding, sharp edits, and over-polished visuals, our challenge was to build a brand that slowed you down. One that felt like opening an old letter or running your hand across a familiar soft weave.
We needed to honour the craft without making it cliché.To speak to modern women without sounding performative. To make minimalism feel warm and not cold.
The Solution
We built Studio Mrinalini’s identity like a garment: thoughtfully, stitch by stitch.
The logotype was designed to feel gentle but grounded — a name that lingers. The palette drew from silks, soil, and skin tones. Neutral, warm, and endlessly wearable.
Our visual language balanced airiness with intention. White space became as important as words. Every asset, from lookbook layout to Instagram grid, was given space to breathe.
The tone of voice followed suit: poetic but plainspoken. We didn’t need metaphors to make it emotional; the truth was tender enough. The result? A brand that feels exactly like the clothes do: meaningful, made for you, and meant to last.
